The HISTORY of Hotel Weissenburg
1911 August and Therese Niehoff purchased the rural restaurant with 3¼ acres of land for 36.000,- Goldmark.
1912 A half-timbered hall has been built.
1949 Expansion of the restaurant. The Niehoffs called themselves restaurant keepers and farmers.
1952 Extension and expansion of the hunting room (Jagdzimmer).
1957 With the motorization the first foreign guests arrived. With the extension and expansion of the terrace the upswing began.
1964 The blue hall came into being.
1966 Another half-timbered hall has been added.

1971 New construction of the hotel 55 beds / rooms with bath / balcony / lift / indoor pool / sauna / solarium / garages, privat parking lot, as well for busses / game park / botanical garden
1984 ceremonial opening of by now 90 beds, new conference rooms for 10 to 80 persons, bowling alley
1988 Extension of the terrace hall for up to 140 persons and expansion of new seminar rooms
1995 Reconstruction of the hunting room (Jagdzimmer) in combination of hotel bar and hunting room
2002 Opening of the country house wing new seminar rooms for up to 300 persons, equipped with the latest seminar and event technique.
2006 Renovation of the indoor pool and the sauna area.
